Willa is a German Shepherd puppy around 12-15 month old who was homeless and left to fend for herself. When she first joined her foster home, she was starving and skittish, but also full of love, enjoyed giving kisses, loved snuggles, and allowed being handled by her new people.

Willa is the absolute sweetest girl, potty-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is bursting with love. She loves chasing down balls, running around with her GSD foster brother, and is super curious about the cats in her foster home. She will sometimes chase them but she hasn't harmed any even though they prefer she keeps her distance. She is really smart, food driven, and responds very well to training and learning new things.

This puppy loves riding in the car and will want to be with you everywhere you go. She is not a dog that can be left outside alone for extended periods of time. Likely worried that she will be left for dead again, she has become an escape artist and can jump a 6' wall. If you must leave her at home, she feels less anxious and is very comfortable resting quietly in her crate until your return.

Willa thrives with structure and, just like any working dog, she wants a purpose and will do best with an owner who will keep her mind and body active... someone who will continue to show her that she is safe and doesn’t have to worry anymore about being alone or not knowing where her next meal will come from.

Willa is a typical puppy who plays hard and crashes hard. She’s going to make you so happy and keep you so entertained, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her!
