Wally

Wally is a 7 month old boy, he was dropped off by his owners at high kill shelter because they said they were “done” with having a dog. For weeks Wallly stayed in his kennel, very bewildered and confused. He got so scared that he was tagged unadoptable to the public because he wouldn’t interact with people, he wouldn’t even take a treat from the shelter folks, he stayed as far away from people as possible, and didn’t want to eat. He was then roomed with another dog and interestingly enough, Wally found comfort with having a roommate, although still very aloof with people, at least he started eating. Still, his time was limited, and the only way Wally would have been given a second chance is for a rescue group to take him out of the shelter.

Well, that’s all in the past now . . . Wally is a very well adjusted boy who loves to play, chase, be chased, running around in circles, wrestle, it doesn’t matter so long as he gets to play. He rides in the car like he owns it, he loves to please, eats like a horse, takes a bath like a champ, corrects very easily and last but not least, he’s got a great temperament!

He lives with 6 other dogs, he gets scolded a lot by the older ones, and when this happens he stays away.

When fully grown, Wally will be a BIG dog, just take one look at his gigantic paws and he is only 7 months old. In one of the photos, he is sitting next to his foster Sister Roo-Bear who is 7 months old, and I’m sure you can tell the difference in size.

Wally’s ideal home is one where he can find a partner in crime!
