Meet Vida from our "V litter"! Vida is part of a litter of 12 puppies that were found in a field in the city of Perris. There were several stray dogs in the area but no obvious mom dog. The puppies were rescued by Good Samaritans who took them in, cleaned and fed them, and did their best to find good homes for them. They were able to place some of the puppies before asking Coastal GSR for help finding homes for the rest. We took five of the siblings.
We had this adorable litter DNA tested so that we could know for sure what breeds they are! The results are in: Doberman, Husky, German Shepherd and a small amount of Chow Chow. They are smart puppies that don't seem to be phased at all by their rough start. Vida is 5-6 months old and is housebroken, can use a dog door, and she sleeps in a crate.
Vida is affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled. She likes to be close to her foster mom and is very people oriented. Vida has been around the foster's large dogs and is not afraid of them. She handles them quite well so a home with another dog would be great for Vida, or she would be fine being the only dog.
