We were alerted to Tippi at a high kill shelter, learning that she had an embedded collar around her neck!!!! Of course, we had to help her. The collar has been removed and her neck is healed except for some scabbing - now her hair just needs to grow back and no one will ever know that she was treated so terribly as such a young pup.

Tippi Canoe is maybe 8 or 9 mos old and is working on gaining some much needed weight. She is a typical puppy and is enjoying her foster brother, Bixby - they play non stop in the yard, using it as a racetrack. Tippi gets along great with other dogs.

Her manners aren't too great but we are working on that - she is smart and wants to learn. She's extremely friendly and happy. If anyone is looking for two dogs, Tippi says that you should consider Bixby too because they have the same energy level, are close in age and are in love!
