On the 4th of July this year, Coastal German Shepherd Rescue was notified that a mom dog with five 1 week old puppies were in a desert shelter and HAD to be moved to accommodate the influx of dogs they were expecting after the fireworks. We just had to help Rain and her five little girls.

Rain is a three year old GSD who probably lived somewhere where she was not appreciated or taken care of. Amazingly, her puppies were born healthy but Rain very thin with a dull coat. We have no idea who or what the dad was.

A wonderful foster family took Rain and her babies into their home and have been helping Rain raise her pups. The puppies are very happy girls and love exploring the yard. They are around children who have had a ball playing with them. The puppies are now 2 months old and had their first puppy vaccination and are ready to meet adopters and go to their forever home.
