Tahoe

Tahoe doesn't have the look of a classic shepherd. He's more of a golden shepherd! But once we met him, heard his story and his plea for help, we couldn't say no to this happy guy. Young Tahoe has had a pretty rough time over the short two years of his life. He has been abandoned twice. The last time, he found himself in a high kill animal shelter. A good Samaritan made an appeal to Coastal German Shepherd Rescue for help, and once we met Tahoe we just couldn't pass him by.
Tahoe is very friendly with people - he loves a car ride and will hang his head over the seat to help you drive, his tail keeping up a steady beat. He clearly loves kids and brightens up whenever he sees one. When it comes to other dogs, Tahoe loves the ladies!!!! His best buddy right now is Tory, a young active pup and they play non stop! Tahoe would do quite well in a home with an easy going female but no males please! As a lady's man, he doesn't like to share his space with the boys. Tahoe will greatly benefit from an obedience class and a lot of attention so that he learns that the world is a good place for him now. Tahoe is in boarding.
