Sunny is one of three sisters confiscated under an neglect case. A gorgeous sable, she is 8 mos old. Initially frightened at the world with absolutely no social graces, Sunny has blossomed into a lovely adolescent. She has been placed in a foster home with multiple shepherds so that she gets to know that dogs other than her sisters are a GOOD thing. She has tagged along while her foster brothers/sisters go through training and seen that getting out in the world is another fun thing to do.

Sunny sleeps well in a crate, is doing really well on her potty skills and learning simple obedience. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves her human buddies.

We are looking for an experienced shepherd home for Sunny - her new family must be willing to take her through obedience; there should be at least one other dog in her new home so that Sunny can continue to copy good canine behavior. Sunny's foster dad will help her new family get off on the right foot with her training - she is in foster care in San Diego. Sunny will be a 10-14 year commitment - if you aren't willing to go through training with her, have patience with her as she matures, please consider a different companion.
