Sullivan

  • Female

Sullivan and his siblings were rescued from a high kill shelter minutes before euthanasia. He was adopted out at 9 wks of age and was returned at 5 months due to "being too much puppy". Sullivan was not doing anything out of the ordinary, just being a typical puppy. Sullivan then found a second home who loved and adored him until they fell on hard times and found they could no longer keep these sweet guy. So, through no fault of Sullivan's, he is now looking for his third home.

Sullivan is now loving life in his foster home with multiple other dogs - he loves to play and especially enjoys a rousing game of tug of war!!! Human or dog, doesn't matter! At two years old, Sully is housebroken and loves to be an indoor family member. Sully will sleep through the night in a crate or he's perfectly happy on a dog bed next to yours (although we strongly suspect that he would love to share your bed with you!). Sullivan's ideal home will have another dog that enjoys roughhousing in canine company along with kids who will keep him entertained with ball and toy chasing.

Sullivan walks nicely on a leash and will even carry a backpack for you - he doesn't react to other dogs that charge fences, just loves to participate in whatever his human is doing. Sullivan knows several commands and he is an alert watchdog - he'll defiinitely let you know if someone is coming to visit!
