Shiloh

Shiloh had a secluded start in life. She was born 15 months ago and has been confined to a backyard with her parents ever since. Now that she's grown up, her people decided they didn't have time for her anymore.

Luckily for her, they called Coastal. Shiloh is now in foster care and we are amazed at how well-mannered she is for such an inexperienced girl! She lives with two little boys, 4 and 6, and four cats! She spends her day learning about the world beyond the backyard.

It's fun to see her learning about dishwashers, hair dryers, vacuums and everything else she encounters during a normal daily routine. Taking walks are a new experience for her. She's loving it and spends most of the time taking in all the new smells. Would you believe she's never even been on a car ride? Well, now she's enjoying the thrill of feeling the wind in her face and she's quite the good traveler.

However, living in seclusion did leave an impression on our little Shiloh. The only other dogs she's met aside from her parents, are the ones on the other side of her fence. So, meeting new dogs is a little scary for her and she reacts with a fearful bark. Her foster family is working to get her socialized and she's showing great progress!

Shiloh is a gentle, affectionate dog who loves kids and belly rubs. She's still a playful pup, yet enjoys spending most of her time just laying by your side. She's house-trained and well-behaved in the house when left alone. She is looking for people who will include her in the family and in return she will give you unconditional love!
