New guy in town! Check out Sarge. This fella is going to be a show stopper once he fills out and gets some much needed love and attention! He found himself at a municipal animal shelter after being stray. He waited for his people but no one came for him. It seems like he had been without - food, shelter, attention - for a while. When we rescued him, you could count every rib on his side. He is putting weight on and now knows that the food is readily available every day. Sarge is friendly with other dogs, easy on a leash, and enjoys a good walk out in the fresh air. He loves pack walks and is a very good hiking buddy. He takes treats with the eagerness of a starved dog... we are working on this! Sarge will make a great addition to a family and with a little time and attention he is going to blossom into an amazing dog.
