Sarah
- Female
Sarah's story is so sad. A group of friends at a Cal Trans facility saw someone push Sarah out of their vehicle way out in the Inland Empire. They couldn't believe what they were seeing! As the truck sped off, the witnesses couldn't get a license plate number but were able to befriend Sarah who had no chip, no collar, no ID.
We've taken her in and have found that she is a delightful girl. She loves to be out on a walk and does well with other dogs!
Sarah is housebroken, bombproof in the house alone and does great with kids, especially the little ones. She enjoys the attention that a toddler can bring to the table (some dogs, not so much) and loves energetic walks, hikes and general fun with her humans. She would be great as an only dog but would also probably do well with a more submissive, low key dog. She can be a bit of an alpha and stands her ground, she's no shrinking violet. However, that just means we have to find the right canine buddy for her, not that she is an only dog - she currently rooms with a sweet male dog in boarding.
