Sarah is a stunning, sweet dog who was found roaming in the middle of a residential street. She was smart enough to know that her rescuers were there to help her and without hesitation jumped right in when they opened the car door! It was immediately obvious that this dog was loved by someone. She sat right down in the car, clearly had been on car rides before, and had freshly trimmed nails and a fresh, clean coat. What she didn’t have was a collar, tags, or a microchip and so her rescuers got her to the local shelter, certain that would give her owners the best chance of reuniting with her. Sadly, despite Sarah being at the shelter and signs being posted all over the neighborhood where she was found, she sat at the shelter day after day, with no owner ever coming forward.
Sarah also knows some basic commands. Someone taught her how to sit for treats and she’s comfortable enough with people she just met to roll over for belly rubs. At approximately 3 years old, Sarah is still a young pup and is very energetic, strong, and craving to be the focus of someone’s attention. She would do best in an adult home or a home with older children as the only dog where she can receive the leadership that she deserves and the regular exercise that she needs.
If you have the time, leadership, and commitment that Sarah deserves, you will be rewarded with a loving companion who is as smart as she is beautiful and who is ready and willing to jump in the car with you and join you in all of life’s adventures!
