Sandy

  • Female

Sandy’s happy-go-lucky attitude has made all the difference in her recovery from severe demodectic mange (see our home page for many of her photos and her story). While she has had excellent medical care and lots of TLC from her foster family, she has a zest for life and everything in it that is amazing to watch! She enjoys playing with her foster sisters who try to play gently with her knowing that she came into the house as a very sick little girl but she insists on playing full out - she wears them out constantly!

While we believe she was probably a stray for most of her short 8 or 9 months of life she quickly adapted to living in the house, she’s housebroken, crate-trained, loves toys, treats, and dog beds, she doesn’t get on the furniture, and she LOVES car rides!

Sandy is very friendly to new people, loves kids, and is great with new dogs. She’s growing in leaps and bounds and her hair is filling in nicely. She’s going to be a beautiful dog - inside and out in a very short time!
