Sadie Belle
- Female
Sadie Belle's foster mom was vacationing in the Caribbean and found out about the potcakes on the islands - as one of our foster homes, she has a definite soft spot for homeless animals - with the help of the local SPCA, Sadie Belle was successfully captured and went from living off of island trash to flying first class to Southern California!!!.
Sadie's story is a sad one - as may be expected, the locals do not regularly spay or neuter - she and her siblings lived more or less feral on the island - she is the only member of her litter to still be living - the others were trapped and euthanized. When she was running loose, construction workers used her as a punching bag and she was regularly pinged around with a 2x4.
Sadie's savior has had her fully evaluated by her veterinarian - she now has a clean bill of health - she is current on vaccines, spayed and ready for her forever home.
Sadie Belle has quickly adapted to a life of luxury. She is housetrained, wonderful with other dogs, absolutely loves lounging under the shade trees in her cozy backyard (she also doesn't mind a snooze on the couch!) She lives with a friendly lab, a shy kitty, attends BBQs with her benefactor and is becoming a well socialized young lady - Eliza Doolittle, she is!!!!
Sadie Belle's adoption fee is $400.
