Sadie

  • Female

The first years of Sadie’s life was not a happy one. Her previous owners kept her crated most of the time and for recreational purposes for Sadie, they would tie her to a tree to for a few hours and back to the crate again she went again. A good Samaritan had talked her owners to give her up which thankfully they did.

Now Sadie is in a foster home with 3 cats and 2 children under the age of 5. She loves to play with her toys which she has just discovered. When the kids are playing Wii with Mom, Sadie gets very excited and loves to join in, what she does is she runs around, tries to find her favorite toy and starts her own version of Wii with them. She is very gentle, so gentle that she got beat up by one of the kitties! She also loves to play with other dogs.

Sadie is learning that there is life out of the crate she was boxed in her entire life, and that there is more than being tied to a tree. She loves this new world that she’s been introduced to, she loves being loved and she gives back a ton to you! At first, when Sadie was brought home the first thing she wanted to do is bolt from the backyard, she tried to get up their fence which she couldn’t do, and then after a few days, she’s realized that it’s really wonderful to be hanging out at home with the kids and the kitties, and since then, she’s calmed down and found her place within her new family which she adores so much.
