Rufus
- Male
- 6-9 years
- German Shepherd Dog
Rufus was found wandering alone with a choke chain and a leash, yet his owners were never found. Sadly, he didn't have any identification or a microchip. He's been cared for his whole life and we couldn't let him die alone in the shelter: we pulled him on his last day hoping his owners would find him first, but they never came. Rufus is a little nervous around other dogs until he is properly introduced, which is not uncommon for dogs that were on the streets alone.
If you adopted Rufus, you could change his name. You could enjoy hours of playing catch. You could show off his obedience skills to all of your friends. You could chuckle as you and your new BFF walk down the street in perfect harmony while others are skiing behind their crazy dogs, just trying not to fall down. You could enjoy this smile for years and years and years to come. You could have the most loyal and fun companion in the history of ever. You could change a life... and it'd be yours, because you'd be happier than you ever imagined with a dog like Rufus.
