Roxy is almost 8 mos old now. Dad was a purebred chocolate lab and mom was a Shepherd/Husky mix. Roxy acts more like a lab than a Husky or a Shepherd.
She's very much a puppy and loves to play with other dogs and with people. She has "puppy energy" but not overly so. After a day of playing, she's quite happy to lay on the couch to watch TV. She's crate trained and housebroken. She just started running short, easy distances with her foster Dad and his dog pack and she's doing great. She'd make someone a great running/walking buddy.
Roxy knows how to sit and will sit and wait for her food. She's very dog and kid friendly. Though she hasn't been officially cat tested, her foster family thinks that she would be fine with the proper introduction. Roxy has been working on her manners and she is responding very well and learns quickly.
