Roca

  • Female

Roca is a 12 month old, petite girl. She is a mere 56 pounds that needs another 10 pounds to gain. She came all the way from Santa Barbara where she was in a kennel for a good 3 months. One of the volunteers at the shelter took her home to foster, and Roca got to spend time with 3 kitties and a BIG german shepherd sister whom she absolutely adored and followed everywhere . . . they both chased balls around and chased each other around. While living with her foster family, most of the time all she wanted to do is hang out with Mom and her new sister.

Roca is a very well mannered girl, walks well on a leash, is very eager to please and is just an absolute love. We think her second love is chasing the ball around . . . .

Roca will be on the petite side. Because of lack of nutrition while growing up, her immune system hasn’t been as healthy as you would like, and so she now has demadex but is on the mends. This is not contagious to other dogs, and is a very common immune system reaction when any dog is under a lot of stress and is not of the best health. With a little bit of nutrition, a warm bed and a ton of love she will be at 110% in not time.
