Rayne, aka Rey, was one of the last puppies to leave a town's animal shelter in the high desert before it closed down. We aren't sure about her story but she is an amazing girl!

Rayne is approximately 9 months old. She has been fully vaccinated and microchipped. She came to us with her ribs, hip bones, and vertebrae showing through her fur. After a few weeks with her foster family, who helped put some weight on her, she looks ten times better. She loves to play with the foster family's 1 year old dog. They wrestle, run, and sleep together. She is a very happy girl!

Rayne is surprisingly good walking on a leash. She loves people and has been good with other dogs. She counter-surfs for food and is always hungry. She knows "sit" and "down". She has gotten car sick a couple of times, especially on long rides.

Other than a few things that can be easily fixed by training, Rayne is a great dog. She will fit in with a family with other dogs or will be a great companion for a solo person or couple.
