Whiskey and Raider were rescued late last week. We originally thought they were both boys, but it turned out that Whiskey is a girl!

We were contacted by a shelter in Riverside because these two gorgeous "mature" dogs were on their euthanasia list. We were their last chance.

Whiskey and Raider are seven to eight years old and lived with the same owner their entire lives. Then their person bought a motorhome and decided to travel, and he abandoned his loyal pets at this very high kill animal shelter. Because Whiskey and Raider were turned in by their owner the shelter only had to keep them for 24 hours and we had to scramble to bring them to safety.
