Queenie's family left her to an uncertain fate at a high kill shelter. Our first view of her was of a dingy, bedraggled supposedly white shepherd. She was quick with a tail wag and has a lovely disposition. Now that Queenie has had a brushing, she is the regal white shepherd that she was meant to be. She is very gentle and kind, tolerating the shenanigans of some very playful foster brothers and sisters. She seems to love toys but is confident enough to settle down in a corner and nap on her own.

Queenie is very playful with other dogs and her favorite buddy is Molly, our 4 mo old mix female who loves a good game of tug of war and chase the ball! We have introduced Queenie to three cats and she was only mildly curious. She watched them run off, hiss at her and sniff her - she had very little reaction. Queenie is bright enough to know to go out the door to do her business and will probably pick up a dog door in an instant.
