Meet Queenie. She grew up in a wonderful home. Queenie's owners have encountered very difficult times in the last year, and they are not able to keep this wonderful dog any longer.

Queenie is 6 years old, housebroken and superb with kids (even toddlers as you can see). She loves to play ball. Queenie has taken the role of patrolling the yard and will alert you if anyone or anything is around the property that does not belong. She is good with other dogs and crate trained and wonderfully mannered!

Update 11/20/09

We'll have to start calling Queenie "the little mermaid" because she was a star at her first hydrotherapy session today. Having just been relinquished by her loving family, we know that she is most likely very stressed out and confused. After living in a home for the last two years, Queenie has found herself again in a kennel setting with many other dogs. But most importantly, she has lost her human family as well. Thinking that some water therapy would be just what she needed today, she was invited to go. And she loved it! No hesitation about jumping into the hydrotherapy pool, no need for a doggie life jacket, no need to encourage her to swim. She just swam and swam. Wagging her tail at the other dogs in the session, she looked as if she had a few moments of happiness in an otherwise difficult time.
