Quando, also known as Bear, was born blind. He was adopted as a puppy, but is now 10 months old and 60 pounds. Not such a little one anymore!

He doesn't let his lack of sight stand in his way. He loves to play with other dogs and with his toys. It would be nice if he could go to a home with another dog who can serve as his "seeing eye dog" but it is not a requirement. He has lived with with cats and small dogs as a puppy but now that he is close to being full grown and is very active, we think that he would do best in a home with a dog his own size that he can play with. He may be too much for small children with his size and boundless energy.

When he was 5 months old, he had two epileptic seizures. He is on a low dose of Phenobarbital and has not had another one since.

He has a special ball that he loves to play with that has both scent and sound so he can retrieve it. He has been through a "board and train" and did well. As with all young dogs, he should continue training with his new family so he can be the best dog possible.
