Friday night, we were told about a female GSD who was losing her home in about 12 hours. It was just around 10:30 PM and this dog was going to be homeless in the morning. She’d spent her whole life as an outside dog and, when her owner died, his grandson (who lived with her and his grandfather for 7 years) tried his best to find a place for her to live. He wasn’t able to find her a new home and was told by his current landlord that the dog needed to be gone by Saturday. We decided we had to help.

Princessa is just the sweetest little girl! She was understandably stressed and confused when turned over to the rescue, but you wouldn’t know it after only a few hours. It’s like she’s known us her whole life and follows us everywhere! She got a much needed bath, enjoyed drying off in the sunny yard, and has loved all of her walks. This sweetheart of a gal gets along with dogs of all sizes and would be fine with children. She's a gem and someone is going to be very lucky to add them to their family. 💙
