Presley
- Female
Presley's before photo is very sad. When we met her the day after she was spirited away from the shelter, she was very depressed and obviously sick. We immediately started medical treatment and got her into a foster home.
Within a short period of time, she turned the corner and is eating well and starting to gain weight. Foster homes are SO crucial to success in rescue - many dogs can get depressed in extended boarding so we work very hard to get every dog into a home environment. Fostering is such a rewarding experience and is one of the best contributions that can be made towards helping orphaned dogs.
Presley walks nicely on a leash and gets along ok with other dogs although she is rather bossy about her "space" - so she'll do best with a submissive dog in a multi dog household. She sleeps quietly through the night in a crate and is an all around sweetheart.
