Pippa is an adorable 6-month-old female German Shepherd puppy! She was picked up by animal control and taken to the Devore Shelter after wandering the streets as a little pup. After contracting a cold, she was put on the euthanasia list and Coastal was able to offer her a safe spot to land just in the nick of time. After a couple weeks of TLC with a foster caregiver, she is healthy, thriving and ready to find her forever home!

Pip is a social butterfly with a tail that doesn't stop wagging. She is giddy to meet new people and will have you wrapped around her paw in no time. She was kenneled with small breed dogs and large breed puppies at the shelter and is eager to meet dog friends. She has even acclimated well to having foster cat siblings and plays well with them! Whether in your lap snuggling or playing fetch, Pip is the ultimate companion and loves to be in the company of humans as much as possible, especially children. She's potty-trained, working on crate training and is very smart and receptive to learning new skills. Pip gets some separation anxiety and would benefit by continued crate training and having a dog sibling or family who is able to be home at times throughout the day.

The ideal home for Pippa would be a family with older children (>5 yoa) and another fun dog for her to play with.
