Penelope is a goofy, energetic girl. She makes canine friends instantly and enjoys going on walks and hikes or just running around in the backyard with her buddies. She would either need to be placed in a home with another dog or access to pack walks with other dogs.

She is medium-sized, does wonderfully in the crate, has great leash manners, and has learned sit, down, stay, come, and place in her foster home. She will also "shake" all day long! She has come a long way from being a scared shelter dog, but she still takes a little while warming up to new people. She would do better in a home with older kids that can understand what she does and doesn't like.
