Penelope was very sick and at a county shelter, which is not a good combo. She had Pyometra, but had surgery at the shelter and needed immediate rescue. We sent her directly to our vet and, a few weeks later, she was ready for a foster home. This pint sized cutie is a glutton for belly rubs, crate trained, and potty trained (this is probably the first time she's been allowed inside a house, but she caught on quickly with a schedule). Her fosters have also started taking her to training, so she's well on her way to being a star!
Around 55 pounds, this amber beauty loves people, is now good on a leash, loves to go for walks and hikes, has been fine around large dogs, but has a big prey drive (There is nothing better than hunting squirrels! 😂) and wouldn't do well in a home with small dogs. If you've been looking for a smart and affectionate young GSD who is now healthy as can be, this is your girl.
