Patron has a calm, yet very fun personality. He walks great on a leash, knows his basic commands, loves car rides, toys (did we mention toys?), and other dogs. He would do best in a home with older kids. He is potty trained, great in the house, and is an all around amazing guy who is a volunteer favorite.

Patron has IBD, (inflammatory bowel disease, somewhat common in shepherds) which is managed with a special diet and daily medications. As a mature dude, he has arthritis in his hips and will benefit from continued supplements.
