Patitas (“little feet”), a gorgeous sable GSD around 4-5 years old, was born with no paws on his back legs. He’s been seen by a primary care veterinarian and awaits his orthopedic consult with Dr. Sebestyen, because we want to do everything we can to make sure he lives his best life.
Papitas is in a foster home with a small dog and dog-savvy child, gets around well, is good in the house, and potty trained. When he gets the zoomies and runs, he lifts up his hind end and runs on only his front legs, which he does with the biggest smile! He will do best in a single story home, as more than a couple of stairs are too much for him to navigate, but he’s a sweet and happy boy and we’re glad he found his way into the Coastal family. 💙
