Oso

  • Male
  • 4-6 months
  • German Shepherd Dog

Oso was found wandering in Riverside County and was taken in by a woman who had a few dogs of her own. She has five dogs of various sizes and ages and Oso got along with all of them.

Coastal German Shepherd Rescue moved Oso to Orange County and agreed to find him his forever home. His foster family has a senior GSD, a young GSD mix, and a cat. Oso and the young dog can play for hours. Oso has a great temperament and also gets along with people. He is very friendly.

Oso does not appear to be a purebred German Shepherd and may have some Malamute or other large breed in him. He has large paws and thick legs. His face is a little rounder than a GSD.

Oso is crate trained and house broken. He loves to play with his younger canine foster brother and is respectful of his older canine foster brother. He still has some puppy mannerisms but he listens, and so far, has been very trainable. He is also living with a cat that does not like Oso living in his house. If you have a dog-savvy cat, Oso may fit in without any issues. He has not been aggressive towards the cat.

Oso is a 5 month old happy pup that would fit into most homes, including those with school age children. How anyone let this wonderful boy escape is beyond belief! He is a gem!
