The three sisters - Opal, Onyx, and Oreo - were rescued by a Good Samaritan from a ranch in Phelan. The mother was a Border Collie/Husky mix and the father was a German Shepherd. Oreo was a little shy when she first went to her foster home but responded well to her new family and now fits right in. She loves the other dogs and children too. She has energy to burn and runs up and down the slope in the back yard. She likes water and wants to play with the hose when the foster mom waters the plants.
