Ollie

  • Female

Ollie was found languishing in a shelter in East Los Angeles, a high kill shelter nonetheless. He was kept by the staff as long as they could, why you ask? Ollie stole their hearts. He was covered with fleas and ticks when he was found, very thin and malnourished (he was 55 pounds when he was brought in) and yet once taken into the kennel he gave the shelter people the biggest hug he could with his brown eyes. Now he has a safe place to sleep, food and water to eat. For Ollie, being at the shelter was the best thing he thought that’s ever happened to him.

We took him out on his first adoption event, he loved everyone! Dogs and people alike! By nature, you can see that Ollie is a very gentle boy. He trots like a stallion, gets in and out of a car like he has wings on his feet, rides in a car as though he born to ride . . . he is a very obedient boy. Ollie is well mannered, very respectful of other dogs, and well adjusted.

Ollie will be a about 90 pounds and a tall boy, he has gained 7 pounds so far since we’ve had him in boarding. He is approximately 4 years old.

He is looking for that special someone who is as gentle as he is, one that can show him a world that he has never seen, one that can give him the love that he probably has never experienced.

Will you be that person?
