Oak’s never met a person he didn’t love more than French fries and he *really* loves French fries. He’s super smart, knows his basic commands, is good on a leash, and eager to work for food.

Around 2½ years old, Oak loves his walks and has been good with everyone he's met. Leash walking seemed fairly new to him when rescued, but he’s mastered that task. All Oak dreams of is an active home who can provide him with the structure a young pup needs so that he'll grow up to be a respectful, happy boy who will continue spreading his joy all over Southern California. 💙

Oak wasn't previously socialized with other dogs and doesn't do well with them. Because of this, he needs to be the only dog in the household and isn’t compatible with apartment living. He’s a mouthy young pup, which isn’t uncommon at all, but that behavior isn’t compatible with young children.
