Around 7-8 years old, Nico was purchased for a child and, when that child left for college, no one else wanted to care for him. He was made an outside dog and got little interaction with people or other dogs, until he was finally taken to the shelter.

We rescued this beautiful sable boy who adores toys, people, is fine around other large dogs, and is very smart and food and toy motivated. He knows his basic commands, is super quick to catch on to new things, and is going to make someone very happy when they add him to their family! While he's good with kids, he will resource guard toys (and needs to be monitored when around toys and other dogs), so he would do best in a home with older teenagers.
