Move over "Brangelina," Sid and Nancy are the biggest news to hit the popular press this week. The operative word here is, "BIG." Together Sid and Nancy tip the scale at over 200 lbs.! No worries though, these guys aren't all brawn and no brains. After all they are part German Shepherd, right? Sid and Nancy definitely inherited the trademark GSD intelligence as they are ready, willing, and able to demonstrate their mastery of the "sit," "shake," and "down" commands.

In addition to all of their smarts, Sid and Nancy both have great, BIG hearts. These two are as gentle as they come. That's right, we can't find anyone they don't love.dogs, kids, even itty-bitty babies. Rumor has it that Nancy sports a maternal instinct stronger than that of Angelina herself. She likes to play mama to Sid and lavish him with lots of sloppy, wet kisses. Even though Sid is all grown up, he isn't to BIG and manly to enjoy all of Nancy's affection. When he sees that loving look in her eyes, he just puts on a happy face.

You are wondering what these two are doing at the rescue given all of their attributes, right? BC (before Coastal) they were living it up in the fabled house with 2.5 kids and a white, picket fence until the family was evicted. With little hope of finding a place BIG enough to accommodate 200 pounds of fun, Sid and Nancy were relinquished to a shelter with tears and a prayer. The upside of Sid and Nancy's sad story is that they are reliably housebroken and already accustomed to respecting your home.

Just like chocolate and peanut butter, Sid and Nancy are just as great together as they are on their own. Although they would love to find a room for two, splitting up the pair will not be as melodramatic as the "Bennifer" break-up. The only thing that Sid and Nancy need to make those BIG smiles on their faces permanent are families to love 'em for life.
