Most shelters don't screen potential homes for dogs (due to many factors). We rescued Mona after she was adopted from a shelter multiple times and kept landing in the wrong homes. The first time she was adopted, the landlord said pets weren't allowed and, the second time, the adopter discovered that German Shepherds bark. We couldn't make this stuff up!

Mona is now safe with Coastal GSR and we've found her to be very sweet and absolutely gorgeous. She is a GSD, so all she needs is adopters who understand the breed and are able to have a dog in their home. She will make a great addition to the right family!
