Memphis is a nineteen month old German Shepherd female. She does not have any papers, but she is a lovely dog anyway! She has been through obedience training and is house trained and is an inside/outside dog. She likes being around people and would prefer to have someone with her most of the time. She does like to dig if she gets bored or does not get enough exercise, so a household that is active would be best! She loves playing ball and chewing on hard toys.

She likes other dogs but tends to think little kids are like dogs she can roughhouse with, so a household with teenage children or none would suit her needs. Memphis is used to sleeping indoors, and it takes her a little while to adjust to new surroundings, but once she does, she settles in just fine. She will bark if someone is at your door, but isn't a constant "barker" at every little thing.

She is a great dog with a definite personality. She knows what she wants and will become the leader if no one else in her new family is, so someone who has had a Shepherd before will probably love helping her become a member of their pack! Memphis is a friendly, happy dog that will wake you in the morning with a "kiss" if you let her!

We regret that she has to find a new home, but love the fact that she will go to a "Shepherd friendly" environment. She would love to be a part of your home and a part of your heart.
