Maude is our dream of how a 'mature' German Shepherd should behave. Spunky but not overly, able to get in and out of cars with ease, likes other dogs but doesn't put up with the shenanigans of the "young folks", Maude is a perfect senior. This beautiful dignified gal is making the best of her golden years and we are determined to help her find the perfect ending.

Not surprisingly, Maude doesn't bark, she doesn't dig, she is housebroken, she sleeps through the night on a dog bed (although she does have a tendency to "guard" the bedroom door, much to the dismay of her younger housemates). Maude gets a kick out of toys...she will take a sheepskin fleece, run down the driveway, toss it in the air and roll over on her back to catch it. She grunts and growls, entertaining herself non stop.

Maude has plenty of life left and deserves to live out the rest of her life with dignity and grace.
