Maggie was lost on the streets until a family of good Samaritans took her in. She was so sweet, that they knew she had to have a family out there missing her. They spent 3 months trying to find Maggie's family, but none of their efforts panned out. They knew they couldn't keep her, so they called Coastal German Shepherd Rescue, and are we glad they did!

Pups don't come any more gentle than Miss Maggie. If you're looking for a guard dog, this mellow girl is not for you! This blonde and black beauty has been living with her foster family for 2 weeks and they haven't even heard her bark yet! The family has two small children and Maggie loves snuggling with them. She does a good job keeping her eye on them, too. If they yell, even in play, she needs to go check it out to make sure all is well. She loves going for walks and she's super easy on the leash ... even when a 5-year old is walking her! She gets along well with other dogs, large and small, and cats, too. Her foster family has 3 cats and she allows them to rule the roost!! Maggie's not a big player - she doesn't really play. She's not a ball chaser, toy chewer or even a tug-of-war player. She's just a lover!

The vet estimates Maggie is about 4 years old. She was about to be spayed, when the vet discovered she already had been. She was once a treasured part of a family. Can you help her find that happiness again with your family?
