This Malinois/GSD mix is such a great boy, but very timid around people he doesn't know. Once he knows you, he's affectionate and great on a leash. When he doesn't know you, he's skittish, so it'll take some time. When he knows you, he likes to lean against you, lets you pet him, cut his nails, give him a bath, brush him, etc. When he trusts you, he really trusts you. He spends his days playing with lots of other large breed dogs, male and female, and going for walks with volunteers. He's obedience trained and working him is a great way to build trust.

Lux's owner passed away and the kids took him to the shelter. This scared and super sweet boy probably never left the backyard, as everything outside of that place was totally new, scary, and overwhelming (at first). Lux is showing us his personality more and more as he becomes more comfortable. He's great with other large dogs and would do best in a home with canine companions.
