Lolly, a petite girl around 30 pounds, found herself at a local animal shelter. We don't know her back story, but she was very timid when recued. While she is very social with other dogs, it was clear that she had spent little to no time with people and wasn't sure what to make of us. We placed her into a foster home, but she wasn't socializing with the people and only chose to mingle with the other dogs. We knew she was a sweet girl and just needed a helping hand, so she went to a live-in training facility where she receives one-on-one attention with a trainer who is amazing with these types of dogs.

After building a bond with her trainer and learning to trust people, Lolly is a completely different dog. She's being worked with by different people and is learning that we only want the best for her. She's come an extremely long way and we have nothing but high hopes for her! She is still shy around people she doesn't know, but there's not a mean bone in Lolly's body- she just needs a family who will give her the time and attention she needs to blossom into an amazing family member.
