Lobo

  • Female

When we first rescued Lobo, it was obvious that nobody had loved him for a long time. This gentle guy was unceremoniously dumped at the shelter and the staff there never really got a clear answer as to why - he's good with other dogs, good with kids, well mannered and quiet. He was in a run with two small and yappy dogs and he was quietly dignified.

Lobo was originally placed a few months ago but has been returned to us - he is suffering from an ear infection that we are working on clearing up and he also has a struggle with weight (like so many of us do!)...

We aren't certain of Lobo's age - over 7 but one thing that we are certain about...Lobo absolutely adores children. His foster mom reports that he followed her four year old granddaughter everywhere - one day, she couldn't find him and upon checking her granddaughter's room, found her reading a story to Lobo, who patiently listened to every word! This guy is amazing - he is a "steady Eddie" with such an agreeable personality. His foster mom has been taking care of his ear infection and with good food and a warm bed, he is blossoming. Lobo is perfect!
