As just a puppy, Kramer found himself at a high-kill shelter. We rescued him and discovered that he'd never been socialized, was scared of people and unsure how to play with other dogs. This young pup went through training with one of the best feral dog trainers we know and has made great progress! He's obedience trained and has been spending time with new people, learning that we're nothing to fear. Kramer loves other dogs, but doesn't understand proper dog language and will jump on and dominate other dogs, like a young puppy. If he goes into a home with another dog, he'll need to be supervised and paired with a dog who won't hurt him for the behavior, but correct him and teach him how to act. Right now, he spends time with Bart, who is teaching him how to be a dog and what's not acceptable. (Bart doesn't have a mean bone in his body and is very gentle with Kramer, even when he's correcting him.) If you put in the time with Kramer, this gorgeous boy will be the best dog you've ever had as part of your family!
