Klaus

  • Female

We can never fully understand how dogs like Klaus become mistreated and homeless. He is skin and bones. Klaus is the offspring of two Schutzund champion dogs with wonderful lineage and temperaments. Klaus shares his parents wonderful temperament and disposition. He's had several homes in his first three years of life. He ended up in a home where he was not cared enough about to be fed, and you can see the results.

Klaus dropped nearly 15 pounds in a very short amount of time. Thankfully a good samaritan came to his aid and got him into the safety of Coastal German Shepherd Rescue. Klaus is now in a foster home and flourishing. He loves his canine and feline roommates. Klaus is a very easy going boy with a heart of gold. His ideal home would be with another dog as he seems to love the company. We are slowly putting weight on Klaus with a calorie dense natural diet. We are committed to finding him a permanent home where he will never be in fear of becoming homeless again.

With some love, nutrition and exercise, Klaus will begin to resemble the champions he was bred from. His ears may never stand tall due to his lack of nutrition when young, but he will fill out to be a gorgeous dog.

For all of Klaus' past troubles, he seems to realize he's safe now. He loves nothing better than to get on his hind legs and nuzzle up to people, and he'll stand there until gravity gets the best of him. Such a sweet dog deserves all the love in world. Do you have that to give him?
