Kaya

  • Female
  • 10-12 months
  • German Shepherd Dog

Kaya and her brother Koda were found on the Coronado bridge in San Diego. They were probably yard dogs that escaped somehow and no one went looking for them.

Kaya is a pretty German Shepherd and Husky mix. She was the shyer of the two puppies and has a very gentle disposition. She was not used to things like car doors closing, traffic, and loud noises but since she has been in a foster home with a foster Husky sister, she is becoming more relaxed. She has been walking on a leash and going for long walks with her foster. She is in the process of being crate trained and is doing well with that.

We think Kaya is about 10 months old. She has been microchipped and vaccinated. She will need to be spayed, which Coastal GSR will cover. She does well with other dogs. Kaya would like to go into a home with a child (we are recommending older that 5 yoa) as she is very gentle and loves to cuddle and nuzzle.
