Kaepernick (Kap to his friends) came to us absolutely terrified and would shake violently if a human was petting him. He's come a long way and now enjoys a scratch on the head and usually rolls right over for belly rubs.

Kap completed a training boot camp through Your Dog Trainer. This was an intensive, one on one, 3 week course - he responded famously; in fact, he's become one of the "office" dogs so he can be exposed to as many people as possible. He adores going on walks and that is when he's the most comfortable and relaxed.

Kap has only shown aggression one time and that was when he was first rescued and his reaction was from fear, not true aggression. He has never shown any aggression (other than making sure other dogs don't get his food!) since then. He LOVES a good Kong and he's great with other dogs.

He might always be a bit shy, but he's come so far in the time we've had him and we have great hopes for him.
