Juno

  • Female

Meet Juno - when we brought her in, we were told that she was blind and it became apparent pretty quickly that she had something wrong with her eyes and couldn't see very well (although it sure doesn't slow her down). We took her to an eye doctor who has diagnosed her with a condition called "pannus". This easily manageable disease requires daily eyedrops for the course of her life - pannus is somewhat common in German Shepherds and the doctor is very positive that her eyesight will improve greatly with proper treatment. Right now, its like she sees through muddy glasses.

Juno is around 6 years old, a little larger than average female and absolutely gorgeous. She has quickly attached herself to her foster mom and gets along with the other dogs in the house. She even gets along with a bossy alpha, although Juno is no slouch in that department. She is a confident girl, housebroken, walks well on a leash and loves car rides. She enjoys sleeping on the dog bed in the bedroom. She will play with other dogs but not a lot - she has really good energy and is very athletic so she would definitely enjoy and thrive on daily walks.
