Jude is a big, strong, lovable GSD/Akita mix we rescued from a high-kill shelter. He's incredibly strong, incredibly cuddly when he trusts you, and working on his obedience game now. He didn't appear to have been socialized much prior to his rescue and was fearful around strangers and other dogs. Now that he's been working with volunteers, he's coming out of his shell and proving to be a big softy who loves to cuddle and get pets. He knows his basic commands and is very (very!) food motivated, so he's fun to train. While he doesn't understand (yet) how to play with other dogs, he is not reactive to them (while on leash) and a great hiking partner.
