Jaeger

  • Female

Strong and Resilient, Jaeger (Freeway) was found living on the 710 freeway for months. Animal control was finally able to pick him up without jeopardizing his safety and to no one’s surprise he was not claimed by a family. Coastal heard about his plight and set forth to rescue him. With the assistance of dedicated volunteers, Jaeger has been brought to safety and is now recuperating in a foster home.

His first few days were used for decompressing. After all, several months of living on a freeway would do a number on anybody’s spirit. After a couple days of good food, a warm bed, a clean bath, and lots of loving, Jaeger has done a 180! He eagerly wags his tail when he greets you at the door and can’t get enough affection from his foster parents. He is known to throw his body against theirs to demand some loving.

Jaeger does great with other dogs his size and is learning to play with his foster siblings. He discovered the toy basket not too long ago and is figuring out how to “use” the toys!

Smart and Sweet Jaeger would prefer a home without kitties or small dogs, as he is much better with playmates of his on size.
